Software Engineer

PrintNow is a Web-enabled application that automates the ordering process between those who buy print products and those who sell them, anytime (24/7/365), from anywhere in the world. Originally founded in Springfield MA in 2003, PrintNow was established after years devoted to developing automated Web-to-Print Solutions. Seven core components: (Storefront, Online Editor, Merge Engine, Admin Tools, One-to-One Marketing, Integration API & PrintNow API) define the core PrintNow web-to-print software solution.

We are hiring a additional software engineer to expand our growing suite of Web-to-Print products at PrintNow. Qualified candidates shall have confirmed success in all phases of the software development process.

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering
• Experienced in Web Development, Application Development using VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, WinForms, Web Services and .NET Framework 2.0, 3.5
• Experienced in database design and database programming using SQL Server 2005/2008 (Stored Procedures, Triggers). Hands on experience in troubleshooting database issues.
• Experience with web technologies using HTML, DHTML, XML, CSS, WinForms, VBScript and JavaScript, Schemas, Ajax, DOM, ASP.net 2.0, 3.5
• Excellent understanding of e-commerce technology and architecture
• Strong background in Object Oriented Programming
• Excellent communication, time management and professional skills

Required Skills:

• Languages – VB.Net, Object-Oriented Programming
• .NET Technologies – VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, WinForms, Web Services, .NET Framework 2.0, 3.5
• Databases – MS SQL Server 2005, MS SQL Server 2008
• Web Servers – Internet Information Services (IIS 5.0/6.0)
• Web Technologies – HTML, DHTML, XML, CSS, WinForms, VBScript and JavaScript, Schemas, Ajax, DOM, ASP.net 2.0, 3.5
• Reporting Tools – Microsoft Reporting Services, Active Reports

Additional Skills (Not Required):

• Flash/FLEX/Action Script 3.0 development experience
• LINQ experience
• Microsoft Certifications
